The Christmas holiday is right around the corner and quickly approaching. This year, we at the Zapata County Chamber of Commerce would like to make this holiday celebration more special than ever.  Plans are well underway for this year’s Christmas parade and the lighting of our newly renovated County Plaza

The parade will take place on Friday, December 04, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. It will start on 17th Avenue and head south on U.S. Highway 83 ending on 6th Avenue.

Following the parade will be the lighting of the Plaza with a festive dance celebration. An event of this nature would not be complete without the help of members of this community. With that in mind we are requesting your participation in this seasonal celebration.

This event is a great opportunity for community members of Zapata County to come together and share the Christmas spirit with each other. Your participation is critical to the success of this event and your support would be greatly appreciated.
